1. Open Homepage. Click on Assign Analytics on top right

2. You will open analytic configuration page.

There are several information that you should input such as:

  1. Camera name --> Fill in the information for the camera name.

  2. Camera address --> Fill in the RTSP or RTMP address from the camera.

  3. Sites --> You can create new sites or choose the existing sites available. This information might help you to seperate camera placement area (for example you can create Hall Room site, Meeting Room site and Outdoor Area site).

  4. Camera Latitude and Longitude --> This is OPTIONAL. You can fill blank if you don't need this information.

  5. Select Node -> Choose Node option that is online. If you are not using clustering method, then probably you only have 1 node online.

  6. Select NVR Camera --> This is also OPTIONAL. You can fill in if you use NVR. NVR that is currently supported only for Avigilon NVR.

3. Select desired analytic. Ignore the custom configuration for now. Click Next

3.1 You might need to draw ROI (Region of Interest) for analytics such as People Analytics, Vehicle Analytics, Crowd Estimation, and Water Level Monitoring.

You can create the counting line using the brush icon. Then draw a line for that. There are several things you can edit such as:

  • Name

  • Direction --> There are several options available such as: in or in-out.

Features in Assignment Page

  1. Create Point, create points to make a line or area.

  2. Clear All Points, clear frame from points you've made

  3. Refresh Stream Frame, refresh frame on page. Useful when you have PTZ cam or after repointing camera.

Drawing ROI

Counting Line

Apply for Vehicle Counting, License Plate Recognition, and People Counting.

Steps to Draw ROI for counting line

  1. Click Create Point to start draw.

  2. Make a first click on a frame.

  3. Hover to other place on the frame, then click again. You've been sucessfully drawn the counting line.

Crowd Estimation

Steps to Draw ROI for Crowd Estimation

  1. Click Create Point to start draw.

  2. Make a first click on a frame.

  3. Create another point (minimum 3 in total) so you could make an area.

  4. On the last click, click the initial point to close the area.

4. You will be shown the camera preview. Click Finish

Line shows the direction of line drawn, Direction shows which direction object passes the line to be counted (as IN)
